A little about
Tarboo Valley Bees
Formed in 2005,
Calvin has been involved with honey bees since 1980. Cal's
mother Lenora and older sister Gloria, were a big help to Cal
when he first started doing bees.
In 2008 Cal started selling Package Bees and that first year a
total of 49 packages were sold.
Cal started a Bee Club through the Chimacum Grange that also
features a new "Beginners Bee Class" that became available
in 2009, that currently has 62 members.
Package Bee sales have gone from 49 in 2004 to 160 so far in
2009.
Cal has a real passion for bees, he loves them and everything
about them. He also wants to see his club members have the same
fun and success that he has enjoyed.
